  • Double pitch chain using an 13Cr stainless steel for pins, bushs and rollers (18-8SUS stainless steel for R-roller).
  • Longer life than SS series. 1.8x the maximum allowable load of SS Series.
    However, slightly less corrosion resistance than SS Series.

Features / Points of caution

  • ・Long life stainless steel chain

    Longer life than SS series. (In-house test results )

    However, it may suffer premature wear compare to SS series and AS series when used in constantly wet with water, such as underwater conditions, so it can not be used.

  • ・1.8x the maximum allowable load of SS Series.

    1.8x the maximum allowable load of SS Series. If the acting load exceeds a certain level, a special sprocket is required.

  • ・Operating temperature range / Corrosion resistance

    Slightly less corrosion resistance than the SS Series. The operating temperature range is -20 ℃ to 150 ℃, so it differs from that of SS series and AS series.

When selecting sprocket specifications

It is necessary to select a sprocket specification that corresponds to the customer's operating environment and the chain specification used.

Please use standard Double pitch stainless steel Wear resistant series sprockets for stainless steel Double pitch chains HS series.

RS sprockets can be used when the number of sprocket teeth is 30 or more with S roller.
