Croise Motor CSMA/CSMR/HCMA/HCMR Series
- This reducer is a right-angle worm gear reducer with a motor that offers a small footprint, lightweight design, and quiet operation.
- Croise Motor make use of worm gears to achieve space savings in equipment layout with right-angleshafts and high reduction ratios.
- The output shaft can be selected from hollow and solid types.
- We have a lineup of motor capacities of three-phase 0.1kW to 5.5kW and reduction ratios of 1/10 to 1/300.
- MR series is compatible with High Efficiency motors. (IE3 Class : Premium Efficiency )

・Right-angle shaft, high reduction ratio
The CSMA/CSMR series offers a reduction gear ratio of up to 1/60 in the first worm gear, and up to 1/300 in the HCMA/HCMR series with a combination of a helical gear and a worm gear in right-angle shaft models.

・Compact
The simple structure of the CSMA/CSMR series provides downsizing of the gear motor in total length. Adoption of a first helical gear in the HCMA/HCMR series reduces the offset between the input shaft and the worm gear output shaft, providing even greater compactness in height.

・Silent operation
The worm gear mechanism offers smooth and quiet operation compared to other gear mechanisms.
Also, the silent-type brake eliminates annoying metallic sound during suction.

・Superior stopping accuracy
Excellent positioning accuracy can be expected due to less backlash compared to other gear mechanisms.

・High Efficiency
At reduction ratios ranging from 1/10 to 1/60, the CSMA/CSMR series features high efficiency for a low reduction ratio range (1/10 to 1/30), and the HCMA/HCMR series for a high reduction ratio range (1/40 to 1/60).

The worm gear has a stronger tooth root than other gear mechanisms, providing superior shock resistance.

CSMA, CSMR:Single stage reduction using a worm gear.
HCMA, HCMR:Two stage reduction using a helical gear and worm gear.
Motor Capacity
This indicates the motor capacity.
Frame number
This indicates the size of the gear reducer.
This is automatically determined by the motor capacity and reduction ratio.
Mounting direction symbols
Specify the mounting direction.
(The mounting code is fixed to No. 0 for frame sizes 28 and below, and to No. 1 for frame sizes 32 and above.

Mounting type
H:The output shaft is hollow.
U:The output shaft is solid, and the unit is designed for face mounting.
L:The output shaft is solid, and the unit is designed for foot mounting.
Reduction ratio
This indicates the reduction ratio.
The range is separated into sections that correspond to the frame number.
Shaft Arrangement
L:The solid output shaft protrudes to the left side looking from the motor.
R:The solid output shaft protrudes to the right side looking from the motor.
T:The solid output shaft protrudes on both sides.
No symbol: leave the shaft arrangement symbol blank if you specify hollow type (H) for the mounting code.
Package symbol
No symbol: Leave the package symbol blank if the motor does not have a brake.
B:Specify to order a motor with a brake.
BE:A rotary encoder will be mounted to the rear of the motor. This specifies a motor with a brake.
SR:This specifies a motor with a Shock Relay, an electronic overload protection device.
Option symbol A
LG:This adds a mechanical overload protection device. The mounting surface will be on the left side.
RG:This adds a mechanical overload protection device. The mounting surface will be on the right side.
Z:This specifies a motor that can be used with a variable frequency drive.
W:This specifies a motor suitable for outdoor installation.
J:This specifies a motor suitable for installation in areas subject to water.
V:This specifies a power supply voltage and cycle rating of 400/400/440 VAC, and 50/60/60 Hz.
V1:This specifies a power supply voltage and cycle rating of 380VAC, and 50Hz.
V2:This specifies a power supply voltage and cycle rating of 380VAC, and 60Hz.
V3:This specifies a power supply voltage and cycle rating of 415VAC, and 50Hz.
V4:This specifies a power supply voltage and cycle rating of 460VAC, and 60Hz.
